About Us

Vanessa Plettell-Chevrier opened her dance studio in 1989 because she loves to teach and choreograph.

As a member of the Royal Academy of Dance and a former professional dancer, she wanted a quality school where students were professionally taught but in a friendly and caring atmosphere. Thirty years later, the school has proven to be a positive and life changing experience for generations of students.

Vanessa Plettell Dance is an Educational Dance Institution. The students are trained under two internationally renowned syllabus, the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) for ballet and Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT) for jazz and tap The non-syllabus courses are lyrical, contemporary, acro, and hip hop.

Our instructors are qualified and certified professional dance teachers who are passionate about imparting their love of dance to every student.

The studio offers courses from recreational through to the intensive, examination and competitive programs. We offer classes for toddlers and children up to teenagers and adults. See our class schedule for more details.

We have 3 bright and beautiful studios (available for renting) in our state of the art facility. Our school is convenient located near the communities of Hunt Club, Findlay Creek, Riverside South, Alta Vista, South Keys-Heron Gate-Greenboro West and Old Ottawa South.
